Shabby Chic White and the Magic Eraser

I want to share a cute little story about my coffee table project and share a tip that you cannot live without if you love white and have children.
I have a sweet 5 y.o. and she is a free spirit, very artistic and always doing something. One of her favorites things to do since she was a baby was playing under tables..all tables..any tables. So I am prepping my coffee table with the sander and my hubby flips it over for me and what do I find? She has drawn a beautiful rendering of the outdoors, trees and all, with her crayons and markers! She is so amazing all I could do was giggle.
 So here is the tip:

If you have not tried the "Magic Eraser" available in the cleaning products section of almost any store, you have to...it can undo almost anything your children or hubby's can do to wood furniture, walls or floors! I have removed markers, crayons, pencil and pen marks, hand prints small and large and drips and splashes of almost everything you can think of. You will love it, love it, love it!!

You are soooooo right. I can't live without mine. My fridge has textured handles and with DH working outside all day and coming in to get a snack or soda together and with the neverending flow of my daughters friends grabbing the handles, I would go nuts without them. I couldn't get the darned things clean until I happened across the mighty Magic Eraser.

"Creativity" certainly isn't relegated to the babes, as Linda has attested to! lol Thanks so much for the tip...can't wait to see the table when you're done! =o]
