Shabby Chic Decorating- Declutter

Spring is here and its time to think about spring cleaning. If you bring in darker, richer colors for the winter it is time to lighten up. If you want the chic home style, less is more. Change your slipcovers, put sheers on the windows or put some floral prints up for fun. If you have been thinking about painting those walls, now is a good time.

This room has great style, it is light and airy and they made it comfortable without it being too stuffy! The upstyled chic home look can be very classic and very sophisticated when you pare down your accessories.

You are doing a great job with your home. It will be beautiful. I love the shabby chic look. I have always loved painted furniture. We recently painted our kitchen cabinets white (from dark oak). It made such a difference in our kitchen.

Welcome Deb, I love sharing different ways to use what you have or inject your own style into shabby chic because that is what our homes should be, reflections of our own personalities. There really aren't any rules...so have fun styling your home.
