Holiday Treats and Other Sweets
I love this time of the year! It is the start of the holidays and winter and harvest time for one of my favorite fruits...apples. I love them dipped in peanut butter and by themselves but I don't like them baked or cooked up in a pie. I love each crisp, sweet bite but this is my favorite way to eat them......

and this is the one I am trying this year homemade caramel, dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt from Amy's......

and then these........

My favorite apples come from Mrs. Prindables and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. I order them every year and slice them up to share with my family and friends for the holidays. Crisp, yummy apples covered in caramel, chocolate, nuts and raisins..... there isn't anything better than that!

Those apples look amazing. I have heard Mrs. Prindables are the best. I bought one at a craft fair the other day. Carmel and chocolate with little oreo pieces. I couldn't get enough!

Susan ~ I love, love Mrs. Prindables apples. My mouth was watering reading your post. Amy's apple with the sea salt sounds interesting, I've heard that salt accentuates the taste of the chocolate. Will have to give that a try.
