Shabby Chic -The Love of Linen
One of my assignments in college was to choose a fabric and design a project around it, that is when I absolutely fell in love with Linen! The project seemed overwhelming but was exciting to work on, I used different weights of white linen, covering windows in the lightest linen I could find,upholstering in heavier linen, and using every other weight in between to shape and cover cushions and pillow covers that I carefully sculpted to look like flowers. I used embroidery to add texture, a pop of color and interest to my various pieces. I became enamored with it's simplicity and by how easily it was transformed and how easily it transformed everything I covered with it. I did not leave one open edge seam, everything was finished in french seams (another obsession I picked up in home ec that works well with my ocd) and to this day when I stitch or design a project I use french seams to hide raw edges they always look chic and expensive no matter what fabrics you use. I am happy to say my instructor was extremely impressed, since then I have always had linen in my closet and in my home, I love wearing it and looking at it.
If you buy what you love and keep it simple and sophisticated it will always look Chic and never be outdated!

Hello, it fits most sofas, 78" (198cm) x 96" (243cm). 55% Linen/ 45% cotton white background with pink roses. It is exactly like pictures. Never unwrapped. Has a ruffled skirt. Machine wash and dry.
